Tony Savage

Tony Savage (LLB., MBA). Tony joined UMK in 2004 and became a partner of the firm in 2007.
Tony advises on business law.
He also sues and defends in the District and High Court.

Tony has a commercial background as a company owner, a financial adviser and was CEO of Lawlink. He was awarded a Master’s degree in Business Management and a Law degree from Auckland University. He has an unfinished PhD in Finance. It may be unfinished for some time.

Tony is a Trustee of Whangarei Music Society and member of Rotary South Whangarei.
He was previously chair of the Northland Chamber of Commerce and a Whangarei Boys High and Intermediate School Trustee.

Tony is the acting chairman of Law Alliance New Zealand. This is a group of over 30 law firms throughout New Zealand. He is on the LANZ and Auckland District Law Society Technology Committees.

Tony is a micro light pilot. He flies an Alpi Pioneer 200. Clients who choose to fly umk air will not have to show their loyalty in any other way.

Tony is a master diver. His last trip in 2011 was to Komodo Dragon Island, Indonesia. As a litigator Tony felt at home with the sharks.
